Chosen from thousands of submissions, the name represents the next chapter for Lake Geneva Cruise Line while honoring our legacy on the lake. With ties to two of our company’s previous excursion boats and countless memories made on Lake Geneva, we felt it was time to carry that tradition into the future.
Get ready for a blend of the Lady of the Lake and Grand Belle, but with a style all her own. With room for up to 110 guests at a reception or 60 for a seated dinner, it’s perfect for smaller weddings, lunch or dinner cruises, or corporate outings.

This new boat represents Lake Geneva Cruise Line’s continued investment in providing exceptional public tours and private charters on Lake Geneva while preserving the traditions and stories that have made the Cruise Line a cherished destination for generations.
The Majestic, built in 1891 for the Congress Club, was a steam yacht added to the Lake Geneva Steamer Line fleet in 1894 and operated until 1920, transporting area visitors and locals around the lake. In 1925, the Whileaway was renamed as the Majestic and added to the excursion boat company, where it carried passengers until 1947.* Interestingly, the new Majestic’s dimensions are very close to the original Majestic.
