One Great Big Family Here at Lake Geneva Cruise Line 

Have you ever wondered what it might be like to work with one of your siblings or your spouse? How about your brother, sister, and your dad? Well here at the Lake Geneva Cruise Line, some of our employees experience just that. Many of our employees have a sibling, parent, or even spouse who works alongside them and even may work the same shifts. Meet some of those families that work with us here at Lake Geneva Cruise Line! 

The Handels 

Not only do four of the Handels work at Lake Geneva Cruise Line, but many of them have also been working here for quite a while. Barb Handel, mother of Katie, Maggie, and Connor, has been working here for over 30 years! Barb’s love for the Cruise Line inspired her kids to apply as well, and they have each been working here for several years. Everyone in the Handel family works a different job here at the Cruise Line, with Connor specializing in bartending, Maggie working as scheduling manager, Barb taking the reins as a deck supervisor with her years of experience, and Katie working as a caterer and boat crew member on many of our private events.  

The Pecks 

While many of our families that work here at Cruise Line are just short of a member or two of having the entire family work here, the Peck family has the entire gang taking on shifts at Lake Geneva Cruise Line. Chris Peck, father of Ashtin and Lauren, has been a captain on our boats for many years. His daughters decided to join him working here several years ago, and both work as tour guides, servers, and crew aboard almost all of our boats! Recently, the Peck’s mother, Susan, also started working at the Cruise Line and has been serving drinks as a bartender. 

The Bibas 

Another one of our families that has almost their entire family working here with us at Lake Geneva Cruise Line is the Biba family. Shannan and Megan Biba have both been working here for over five years, showing dedication to the Cruise Line and taking on many roles. Shannan and Megan both work as deck supervisors because of the hard work they have shown throughout the years but also love to cater and crew aboard nearly all of our boats. Shannan and Megan’s dad joined the Cruise Line staff as an excellent bartender the last two years.  

The Hecksels 

Last, but certainly not least, we have Jason Hecksel and his wife Juli! Jason and Juli have been with us for quite some time, and have different, but very important roles here at the Cruise Line. Jason has been one of our captains for many years and does a fantastic job working on our Santa Cruises as well. Julie also loves to work all year round, and works mostly as a bartender, being a friendly face to all customers and pouring delicious drinks! 

Four families working together at one workplace is quite unusual, but we have even more than that. The Cetnarowski’s, Rudd’s, Phillip’s sisters, Trottier sisters, Zwiebel brothers, Davis’, Jahns, and O’Dell’s are all other families working here at Lake Geneva Cruise Line. When we say we are one big family here, we mean that literally! Everyone working here, whether on boats or in the office, is treated like family because that is exactly what we are at Lake Geneva Cruise Line.
