Mackenzie and Andy’s wedding ceremony was held on the Grand Belle boat with a reception following at the Riviera Ballroom. Their whole wedding was full of laughter and lots of smiles! Mackenzie dazzled in a stunning lace gown while her bridesmaids wore shades of sparkly silver. Andy’s deep blue tux stood out against the bright blue water and matched Mackenzie’s stunning ring.
Why not host your meeting in one of the 12 most luxurious lake towns in the world! Though the Midwest does party lakes as well as anyone, it’s not nearly as noted for its opulent lake towns. But this one, which sits on Geneva Lake, the second-deepest lake in Wisconsin, is home to some of the most impressive, intimidating mansions you’ll find on a midwestern lake.
I often hear meeting planners say, “My budget is only X dollars” or “I wish my budget was bigger.” My response, “Let’s embrace the budget you have and get creative to exceed your organization’s goals.” Yes, it is possible to produce an effective meeting with a limited budget. Call 262-248-6206 to speak with a planner at Lake Geneva Cruise Line that will work within your budget!
Holding an offsite or destination meeting in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin has some distinct advantages over bigger cities such as Milwaukee and Chicago. Meeting planners find plenty of opportunities to exceed the expectations of board members, corporate groups, volunteer groups, and associations.
Mackenzie and Andy found us last year at the Lake Geneva Bridal Show. This day has been a long time coming! We met up at Pier 290 before their wedding day, to go over last minute details, and that is when my excitement for this wedding went through the roof.
Many Wisconsin communities are rich in German Heritage, so you can bet the Oktoberfest celebrations are top notch. Gear up and get ready for some of this fall’s best Wisconsin Oktoberfests, featuring a little bit of something for everyone in the family; authentic German music and dance, the savory smell of bratwursts on the grill, cold pints of German brews and much much more.
There are over 20 miles of beautiful shoreline that surrounds Geneva Lake. You can walk, jog, or run on a path that covers the entire perimeter of the lake and affords you a closer look at the lake shore homes*. If you are not up for the full 20 miles, you can walk from downtown Lake Geneva and we will pick you up in Williams Bay (approximately 7 miles) or Fontana (approximately 11 miles). Once on board, you will hear the live narrated tour as you ride back to your starting point at the Riviera Building.
The shore path is free to the general public. Tours are scheduled for Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24, with pick ups in Williams Bay at 1:45 pm & 4:00 pm and in Fontana at 2:00 pm & 4:15 pm. Tickets for the boat are $15 for adults / $10 for kids, with a complimentary non-alcoholic drink when you get on board.
*Lake path walkers must stay on the path and may not trespass on private piers and/or lawns.

Within minutes of arriving in Lake Geneva, a town with an annual population of about 7,000, as well as thousands of tourists from Chicago and Milwaukee, we found ourselves – not surprisingly – on a boat docked in Geneva Lake. The Lake Geneva Cruise Line offers a variety of tours every day on one of their numerous vessels. We were aboard the Geneva with a dozen or so other people and co-captains Jerry Mortier and Pete Petersen.
